After a hard season the final round of matches didn’t quite happen. Out of 3 matches in the gents league only the Dumfries C match against Beechgrove took place with the other 2 being conceded. This left Dumfries A as champions for the 13th time in the leagues history and their 7th straight title. In the only match the was played Dumfries C and Beechgrove played out a 2-2 draw.

In the ladies league there is one week to go and it’s a 2 way fight between Dalbeattie who currently sit top and Stewartry CSC who are one point behind with a game in hand. This week Stewartry CSC entertain bottom of the table Beechgrove and Dalbeattie welcome Kirkcudbright ladies for the first visit to Dalbeattie.

The mixed leagues are due to start on 12th July.
