Finally, the Ladies and both gents league’s have come to a conclusion. In the ladies league defending champions Stewartry CSC claimed the title for the third year in a row with 7 wins and 1 draw. In the gents league it came down to the last match of the season with Dumfries A needing not to lose to claim their 8th title in a row against Beechgrove who needed to win to avoid relegation. Unfortunately after several attempts to rearrange this match it was eventually conceded by Beechgrove which handed Dumfries A the title and condemned the Moffat club to division 2. Dumfries A won 8, with 1 defeat and 1 walkover. In the new division 2 Annan Seaforth won their first title since their mixed league championship back in 1998 and are promoted to the top division. Their record was 4 wins, 1 walkover, a draw and 3 losses. Well done to Stewartry CSC, Annan Seaforth and Dumfries A.
